Blue Martini
INGREDIENTS
- 2 OZ VODKA
- 0.5 OZ BLUE CURAÇAO
- 0.5 OZ COCCHI AMERICANO
- 2 ORANGE BITTERS
- ORANGE TWIST, FOR GARNISH
METHOD
- Add all ingredients except for the garnish to a mixing glass.
- Add ice cubes to the mixing glass and stir until a frost has formed on the exterior of the glass.
- Using a julep strainer, strain into a chilled coupe.
- Garnish with an orange twist.
Blue Hawaii
INGREDIENTS
- .75 OZ LIGHT RUM
- .75 OZ VODKA
- 1 OZ BLUE CURAÇAO
- 2 OZ PINEAPPLE JUICE
- .25 OZ SIMPLE SYRUP
- .25 OZ LEMON JUICE
- .25 OZ LIME JUICE
- PINEAPPLE
- CHERRY
- UMBRELLA
METHOD
- Pour all of the ingredients except for the garnishes into a shaker tin.
- Shake with ice and strain into a Hurricane glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with a pineapple wedge, a cherry and a cocktail umbrella.
AMF
INGREDIENTS
- .5 OZ ALL CLEAR SPIRITS
- .5 OZ GIN
- .5 OZ WHITE RUM
- .5 OZ TEQUILA
- .5 OZ BLUE CURAÇAO
- 1 OZ LEMON
- LEMON-LIME SODA
- .25 OZ SIMPLE SYRUP
METHOD
- Fill a highball glass with ice.
- Add spirits, lemon juice and simple syrup, then top with soda and stir to combine.
- Garnish with a lemon wedge.
Favorite part about this one is the name. AMF stands for Adios Mother Fucker
Gun Metal Blue
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 OZ MEZCAL
- .5 OZ BLUE CURAÇAO
- .25 OZ PEACH BRANDY
- .75 OZ LIME JUICE
- .25 OZ BITTER CINNAMON SYRUP
- 1 ORANGE RIND COIN
METHOD
- First, make the Bitter Cinnamon Syrup.
- After your syrup has cooled, you’re ready to mix up a beautiful blue cocktail. Pour a quarter-ounce of the bitter simple syrup and the remaining ingredients (minus the garnish) into a cocktail tin and add ice.
- Shake the drink, then strain into a coupe (preferably chilled) and garnish with a flamed orange rind coin.
Mystic Blue
INGREDIENTS
- 2 OZ MEZCAL (PALUMBO SUGGESTS ILEGAL MEZCAL JOVEN)
- .75 OZ LIME JUICE
- .5 OZ BLUE CURAÇAO
- 1 CUP CRUSHED ICE
- ORANGE PEEL (FOR GARNISH)
METHOD
- Carefully cut a wide swath of zest from an orange and fashion into a wing by cutting slits into the peel.
- In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until fully incorporated.
- Pour the slushy cocktail into a coupe glass and garnish with the orange peel wing.
